As someone who has always believed in simplicity and quiet confidence, I’ve found that the most beautiful pieces are the ones that make you feel like yourself, without trying too hard.

When I saw Femina Miss India 2024 runner-up, Aayushi Dholakia, in our naturally dyed button-up dress, it felt like a full-circle moment for me. She wore it so effortlessly, with so much warmth and grace, and truly captured what Lohana stands for.

Why effortless dressing means so much to me

In a world that moves fast and pushes us to constantly keep up, effortless dressing feels like a small act of rebellion. It’s about choosing pieces that let you move freely, that feel comfortable and honest, and that don’t demand your attention all day.

For me, dressing effortlessly is about feeling at ease in your own skin. It’s about being able to walk into a room and feel confident because you’re comfortable, not because you’re dressed loudly.

The story behind this dress

The dress Aayushi wore is close to my heart. It’s made from 100% organic cotton and naturally dyed using a process that respects our environment and honors traditional techniques.

It’s designed to be that one piece you can reach for without thinking twice. A piece you can wear to brunch, to a meeting, on holiday, or even to an evening out. It’s light, breathable, and easy in every sense of the word, something I’ve always wanted to create.

Why comfort is confidence

There’s a certain energy that comes from being truly comfortable. When you’re not adjusting your outfit or worrying about trends, you move differently. You smile more. You show up as yourself.

Seeing Aayushi in this dress reminded me of that. She made it look so easy, and that’s the kind of feeling I want everyone to have when they wear Lohana.

Choosing ease over excess

Lohana has always been about thoughtful design and simplicity. I believe that what we choose to wear should make us feel good, inside and out. Slow fashion isn’t just about fabric or dye; it’s a mindset.

This dress, and so many pieces we create, are about choosing ease over excess. About finding joy in the simple things.
